Harry’s is a 100 seater steak bistro located in the heart of Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast. Harry’s concept is our take on the traditional dish “steak frites”.
We use locally sourced organic fruit and veg Direct from the farmer where possible. Living in beautiful Australia gives us access to work alongside Australian cattle producers to serve you the best possible steak for the best possible price. Harry is Adam’s late grandfather. He was a lover of food and a bigger lover of beef. Like most immigrant Greeks in the 1930’s it was work hard, grow your own veggies and source the best meat possible from your local butcher. All so your large family could feast. Everything we do at Harry’s is in honour of Harry himself. Here’s to Harry.
Our wine list consists predominantly of wines from smaller producers who practice organic & biodynamic farming & wine making practices.
An organic wine is from grapes that were farmed organically, with no use of synthetic herbicides, pesticides & fertilizers. A biodynamic wine goes beyond organic practices in an effort to balance the entire vineyard with nature and the moon cycles. It is based on the writings of Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner who believed that the vineyard is one ecosystem that only when in balance can grow the best fruit.
Harry’s grandson Adam and his business partner Pete have searched far and wide to locate the best quality beef for the best price. The majority of our sourced beef is grass fed which we find gives a better flavour profile and is also a healthier choice. We serve this on your plate with our organic home grown salad and Bob’s your uncle.
Harry’s farm is located three short Kms, from Burleigh Heads, as the crow flies. On our humble farm we proudly practice organic methods of growing lettuce, red sorrell, and a selection of herbs and a variety of citrus. We pride ourselves on using organic practices when we farm. When we can’t meet demand, we call on two other organic farmers in Tyalgum and Crabbes Creek.
